Jennifer Goldwasser, MD, is board-certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her focus is on medical dermatology — the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail diseases — in adults and children.
She has a holistic and cooperative approach to care. You have skin everywhere, and there is no need for modesty in her office. Nearly every visit consists of a thorough history-taking, a careful examination of all parts, collaboration with the patient to create a therapeutic plan, and explicit printed instructions. Every patient is evaluated and treated by the doctor herself. She offers both virtual and in-person evaluations, with stringent Covid-19 safeguards.
About Dr. Goldwasser
Jennifer Goldwasser, MD, founded and operated Central Westchester Dermatology in Scarsdale from 1994-2013, then practiced in group practices for the next five years. She returned to solo practice in 2019 because she found that to be more conducive to accessible, person-centered care. She has acted as a clinical instructor at Westchester Medical Center and at Jacobi Medical Center. She has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor based on reviews by her peers in 2014-21, appearing in Westchester Magazine, and has been listed as a SuperDoctor in The New York Times Magazine in 2012, 2014 - 2021.
Dr. Goldwasser earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, with honors in nutritional biochemistry, and her medical degree cum laude from State University of New York (SUNY)-Downstate in Brooklyn where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor medical society. She completed her internship at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and returned to SUNY-Downstate for her dermatology residency, where she served as chief resident.
